These gatherings are rooted in presence, play, and shared resonance—where every voice belongs, and no prior experience is needed. Upcoming Gatherings
Tatianah Thunberg and Irene Soléa Antonellis invite you to join their three part workshop series Bringing It Home inspired by their participation in Rhiannon’s All the Way In 2026 year-long vocal improvisation program.
Directed by Rhiannon and facilitated by primary teacher Cara Trezise, with guest artists Manel Lignares, Zahara, and Zuza Gonçalves, this international training is deepening their vocal improvisation practice alongside a devoted cohort of twelve artists.
The All the Way In cohort gathers for an immersive residential week long training in February, June and October with home practice between sessions. Tatianah and Irene are committed to serving as ambassadors—bringing these musical forms, insights, and embodied discoveries home to their vocal improvisation community in Michigan.
This workshop series offers an introduction into practices from Rhiannon’s body of work known as Vocal River. Expect spacious guidance, playful rigor, and practices you can carry into your own work as singers, improvisers, song leaders, and community weavers.
All levels welcome. Whether you are an experienced improvisational singer or a curious beginner, you will leave feeling more connected to your voice—and to the natural capacity within you to create, express, and make improvisational vocal music with others.

The Vocal Wilds Collective includes artists Tatianah Thunberg, Irene Soléa Antonellis, Dory Mead, Kath Weider, Beth Patterson and Julie Kouyate.
We cultivate spaces where song arises from deep listening, presence, and play— spaces where people feel safe enough to soften, brave enough to sound, and inspired enough to co-create.
We collaborate with each other and with a dynamic constellation of artists, singers, musicians, dancers, ritualists, and creative facilitators who share a devotion to embodied voice and communal artistry.
Each offering is co-created with the singers who join us, the artists who stand beside us, and the more-than-human world that inspires us.
Our offerings are designed to open the voice, embody presence, and cultivate belonging through group singing and include:
Retreats: Immersive weekends of longer sessions of spacious singing—where nature, community, and the wild voice meet.
Workshops: Focused explorations of vocal improvisation, embodiment, and creative play in a supportive circle.
Classes: Ongoing practice spaces to build skills, strengthen presence, and grow your improvisational voice over time.
Jams: A more casual vocal playground where we practice listening, taking creative risks, and letting collective music emerge.
Song Ceremonies: Devotional song gatherings rooted in presence and weave a communal field of reverence, resonance, and renewal.
Trainings: We host guest artists to provide expert-led intensives to deepen our skills, artistry, and community practice.
Performances: Live, improvised sound journeys that invite audiences into the mystery and beauty of spontaneous song.
