Welcome

I extend a warm hello—and an emphatic yes.  Yes, it is possible to integrate the legacy of trauma we’ve inherited and shift from surviving to thriving in this lifetime.

We are all being called to evolve beyond the survival strategies we developed to navigate wounding family systems, ancestral lineages, and social conditioning. In the face of mounting global challenges—social, political, and environmental—this legacy is amplified. And yet, so too is the invitation: to expand our capacity to stay present, resourced, and lovingly engaged.

My Practice

At the heart of my work is the somatic path to co-regulation and social engagement. Whether in individual psychotherapy, couples therapy, or community singing, I support people in reconnecting to the wisdom of the body, the resilience of the nervous system, and the healing power of relationship.

As we learn to trust the innate intelligence of posture, movement, breath, felt sense, and subtle energy, we cultivate the conditions for empathy, curiosity, collaboration, and playfulness. In doing so, we strengthen secure attachment—not only to ourselves and to others, but also to the Earth and to the sacred. We move from fragmentation toward an embodied experience of connection and wholeness.

Alongside my clinical work, I also lead singing workshops, retreats, and vocal improvisation gatherings that invite participants into deeper relationship with their voice, creativity, and belonging. These offerings are not about performance, but presence—co-creating spaces where song becomes medicine and connection becomes the ground of transformation.

About Me

I began my clinical practice in 1996, during my first graduate internship. Since then, I’ve been devoted to the art and science of building secure, attuned relationships. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with children, adolescents, adults, elders, couples, and groups in settings ranging from mental health and substance abuse clinics to K–12 schools, community colleges, private practice, yoga studios, and retreat centers.

As a somatic psychotherapist, expressive artist, and community song leader, I bring a trauma-informed, neurodivergent-aware lens to all that I offer. My work integrates deep listening with playful exploration—guiding individuals and groups toward healing, expression, and wholeness.

Like you, I am a lifelong learner—continually evolving through study, community, and relationship with my beloveds, teachers, and the sacred.

An Invitation

It would be an honor to accompany you on your healing journey.

Whether you're seeking therapy, relational repair, or a way back into your voice and the joy of singing together, I welcome you into this work.

Together, we’ll deepen your capacity to live from love—and celebrate the never-ending invitation to remember who you and we truly are.

Services of The Heart

Summoning the courage and skills to live a more authentic and interdependent life often requires support. Together, we’ll explore the obstacles that led you to seek therapy, your vision of what’s possible, and the inner and outer resources that can support your movement—from the dance you’re in, to the dance you long to be in.

My holistic approach recognizes that unmet needs and unresolved experiences show up in the mind, body, behavior, and relationships. In session, we center somatic awareness—developing skills for self-regulation and co-regulation that foster clarity, resilience, and right action. This embodied approach helps you shift from survival strategies into a more vibrant, connected way of living.

The path of conscious relationship invites us to develop the skills to attune and respond to our partner’s feelings, needs, and requests—while staying true to ourselves.

The very obstacles that arise in relationship often point the way toward what both partners long for: deeper connection, emotional safety, and a fuller expression of love. Past injuries and ruptures can be repaired and resolved. With support, couples can regain clarity and move forward—whether that means renewing your commitment with vitality and intention, or parting ways with compassion and care.

Belonging is one of our most essential human needs. When we feel truly welcomed, our capacity to listen expands—listening to ourselves, to each other, to the land, our lineages, and the songs that carry and connect us.  Singing together awakens this deep knowing. It reminds us of our interdependence with all beings.

Join us in circle to explore the power of shared voice. Through community singing, vocal improvisation, contemplative movement, and song ceremony, we co-create a space for connection, creativity, and communal care.  Let's honor vulnerability and celebrate joy together—meeting the thresholds we’re crossing, seen and unseen, with courage, presence, and song.

"The love that you search for everywhere is already present within you.  It may be evoked by any number of people and events  But finally, you must realize you are this love.  The source of all love is within you".  ~Gangaji
